Our story
Blackstone Bistro concept was founded and created by its Chief Executive officer Sharif Wagdy Mobasher in January 2009.

Sharif traveled and worked all over the world, which made him experience the world cuisines and their secrets.

Blackstone is a mix of cuisines, and a mix of cultures. The food and the service culture is generated from the Mediterranean to the North Pacific, from Italy to Cairo, to San Francisco and Hawaii. But to simply describe the cuisine, then it is an American Bistro Cuisine with Mediterranean fusion.

Due to the Economic drop in the US, the first Blackstone Bistro was opened in Cairo Egypt in 2010. The restaurant achieved many positive reviews and was selected to be top ten restaurants in Egypt.

Immediately after that the second location was opened in Cairo in December 2010.  

We have had a great journey in Egypt. The client is amazing with very open mentality willing to explore and try different food, which made our approach even easier.

The Egyptian client took us with open arms, and made us extremely successful.

We are extremely excited and looking forward to our expansions. And where better than in Minnesota USA, our CEO's home-ground. Minnesota is an amazing state and home to many inventions, great brands, and a home to many chefs first restaurants. Our restaurant is opening in a great area in the heart of the city of St. Louis Park. The restaurant is strategically placed in an amazing upcoming area that is located in between The twin cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, creating our continues target to become the Neighborhood Bistro.
We believe that we can deliver a great new flavor to the twin cities and to the whole state, and win the taste and the heart of all our guests, as we have been wherever we opened.

Mission Plan

Our mission is to initiate and maintain a sense of friendly awareness of the guest’s need for quick and anticipative meal service, with excellent cuisine, and friendly environment.  

The plan is to achieve the best level of dining by concentrating on an exceptionally high quality of food and service. The food is Fine American bistro with a Mediterranean fusion. The ambiance in all of our restaurants, is a welcoming and warm, and attractive to all eyes.

We are expanding our restaurants slowly, and carefully ensuring that our culture is not missed out, and that our focus is still providing best service and top quality food.
